Challenge

Mahashopee is an online grocery shopping app for the state of Maharashtra. This app was designed during the COVID-19 pandemic to help local stores that did not have an online existence, allowing people to buy from these stores from the comfort of their homes. 

Mahashopee approached BrandBand Media to design its logo and social media campaign. Tier 3 cities were the target group, which are still getting used to the concept of online grocery shopping. Hence we decided to keep it simple.

Solution

To establish a brand identity, we created a logo that can be easily associated with shopping. When someone says shopping, the first thing that comes to our mind is a shopping cart. As the app is for the state of Maharashtra only, we went with the Devanagari letter म which stands for Mahashopee. All this is seamlessly combined, which makes an outstanding and attractive logo for Mahashopee. Along with the logo, we also curated the colour scheme for the brand. All the effort our team took was worth it when we received the appreciation for the logo.
